Hello, I have some cross sections of roots that I sliced by hand. Therefore it is not as thin as those which are sliced by a microtome. I would like to mount them with a cover slip but I get alot of air bubbles.

I tried to dry the slides on a heated surface but the root pieces started to be a little shriveled.

Do you have any suggestions to improve the mounting? I am using Entellan new as the mounting medium.
