How to approximate values between measurements in grid?

I am making an application for Android smartphones that is taking samples of magnetic field each time I press the button (each measurement is taken on the same altitude). I know the distance beteen next measurements. I want to make a magnetic map of hallway. Could you help me find an approximation methon for my grid of samples?
