Hello everyone,
I want to apply time-varying nodal force on all nodes of the top surface of a beam as shown in the following picture (In ANSYS workbench).
Each node selection has a corresponding nodal force in x and y direction over a short period of time in a excel* file. Since I want to apply these forces on all parallel node selections on the top surface, it is so time taking to apply these forces and select these nodes manually.
Is there any way or command to select these parallel nodes automatically, such as selection1 to selectionX, and then ANSYS automatically apply these forces from the corresponding excel file like Forc1.xls for selection1 and ForceX.xls for selectionX ?

Thank you very much for your response. Each node selection (in parallel lines) has its own time varying force. That is why I don't want to apply force on the whole surface. I also thinks there is not any method and I should do it manually which is so time taking.
