I have created a beam and i dont know, what is the maximum load it can take, Is there any way to increase the load continuously without giving a fixed value, so that at some load the beam will fail and i will consider it as a maximum load it can take.
Kindly help me how to do this ?

If the problem is linear, just apply any load, measure maximum stress and then scale.
If the problem is non-linear, just choose a load that is too large and then look at what time step the critical value is reached.

You should use the displacement control method and capture the maximum load in the results.
Use displacement control (use boundary condition in step 1, not in the initial step), but the defined material should have plastic properties or elastic with fail stress.
