I plan to collect data from two groups (employees for independent variables) and their supervisors for the dependent variable. Is there any way to merge the data?

You want to investigate how employees affect their supervisors in some regard?
Is IV and DV data on binomial, ordinal or continous scales? What is measured?
Can you give some details?
It could be simple as just having identifiers prior entry.

More clearly, my model considers the following variables:
- Unethical leadership behavior –independent variable
- Revenge cognition and perception of injustice-mediating variables
- Subordinates’ deviance-outcome variable
To overcome social desirability bias, I plan to collect data from two groups i.e;
-About IV from subordinates
- About the outcome variable (subordinates deviance) from their supervisors
After collecting data from this two groups, I plan to merge the data from the two groups (subordinates and their supervisors) probably unequal sample size. The data is to be collected using 5 point likert scale items. So, How it can be merged and analyzed?
