please can someone tell me how to add DOI to a publication i followed the steps given in help section but can't find a link contribution..;article title...right section there is nothing!!
Just click the article title on your profile-contribution and then click 'edit'. Type the DOI of your article and then 'save'.
thanks a lot for your fast reply but what about if the article hasn't at the origin it's DOI in the journal (source) can we generate one for this type of articles

You can also generate DOI here in RG for your conference paper or presentation after uploading a full text (I have done this on my uploaded conference paper and presentations. See the links.); but not, I suppose, on previously published articles on journals. DOIs for journal articles are taken care of the journal publisher.

Go to first "add your unpublished work" option on your researchgate page and click and fill the required things then you will get a DOI number and register yoyr paper best
