I am designing a heat treatment fixture, I wish to optimize the design of the fixture for better strength and reduce the weight (so as to increase the useable weight load). I know that the increase in temperature negatively affects the yield (tensile) strength of the material. I would like to understand this relationship numerically. I wish to calculate the strength of stainless steel at various temperatures.
Designing for high-temperature applications is very new to me. Tips for better design are also highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
