Hi all

I have modeled an excavation in three steps in Abaqus software.

The model has 4 steps. The first one is the geostatic step and the rest of them are excavation steps.

I am using Umat subroutine as soil property.

After that I ran the model, because of the complexity of this code, I came to realize that the speed of solving the model is very low and after about one hour its time increment was 0.000625.

Is there any approach to make this process faster?
