The aim of my experiment is to detect the expression of genes in cancer stem cells.  I will collect fresh clinical tumor specimen from the hospital and it will take about six hours before separation of the single cell and incubation with CSC marker. But the problem is, no machines are available now as all the technicians are in off duty. So  I have to separate the sample on the other day. However, for this kind of situation, the amount of single cells will decrease dramatically. Can anyone suggest a good solution to store the sample overnight?
