I have induced colon cancer by DMH in rats , for investigating the ACF formation in tissue samples after 6 weeks :
how should be the tissue samples sectioned for microscopic staining ?
how should be the changes scrutinized after this period (6 weeks ) ?
what are the other methods to determine cancer induced by DMH ?

It depends on the type of tissue and on the kind of fixation. I you have fresh frozen material, you need a specific cryosection working station. The sections are between 5 and 10µm thick, depending on your experience. If you are cutting paraffin embedded formalin fixed tissue, sections can be thinner (3-5 µm, again, depending on your or your technician's experience
