Regarding recent trends of increasing number of publications right from the undergraduate level to early career time, great concerns have been made on quantity of publications. However, publishing articles, ofcourse, enhances one's personal skills and knowledge, but how impactful are those publications for the relevant stakeholders? Evaluating individuals capability more focused on number of published articles may not always help. I think quality of research and its impact to concerned stakeholders are being overlooked by more focusing on the quantity. What do you think? Are researchers going in the right path?
