I am trying to do daily basis quantification of lipid accumulation in algae grown in wastewater.

I am trying to use flow cytometer for lipid quantification but confused that how I can do quantitation in term of weight/weight or weight/volume.

otherwise, may i go for fluorometer with Nile red staining and prepare calibration curve by using a lipid standard.

please response....!
