I want to carry out fermentation of cocoyam starch hydrolysate to produce citric acid using Aspergillus niger. The hydrolysate has been prepare by enzymatically hydrolysing the starch in the cocoyam. The mineral salt medium has also been prepared. I want to know how much (volume) of both (the hydrolysate and medium) to be combined in order to carry out the fermentation to produce citric acid.
