I am writing a paper and some words and lines are common to my previous paper just because my present research work is extension of my previous work, that is already published.
The similar index is shown 32% when i check through turnitin software. if i exclude the source of my paper it shows exactly 19%..
So should i submit or not? The things copied from our self is under plagiarism policy or not?

Dear Nishant,
Ideally, it must be 'Zero'. However, use of standard technical terms can not be avoided. Therefore, in most of the SCI journals, the plagiarism report generated by the CrossCheck / iThenticate software is evaluated by the Editor to make a decision on the issue.
