I purchased a biotinylated antibody to implement a lateral flow immunoassay and I realised that the data sheet does not have the molecular mass of the product. I asked the technical service, and I was told that the molecular mass of the isolated IGg is 150 kDa, but the molecular mass of biotin should be added. As molecular mass of biotin is 0,244 kDa, I wonder if biotin mass can be neglected. That is, how much biotin are in biotinylated antibody? I only need an estimation. Four biotins per IGg adds 1 kDa, 40 biotins per IGg add 10 kDa. If biotinylation could produce very different results, should I measure it directly?

Thank you in advance.
