Hello dear friends and editors
A question that has been on my mind is whether a large number of revisions is good or bad for an article?
On the one hand, the quality of the article is enhanced during the period of 5 or 6 revisions. But on the other hand, a large number of initial submissions pass, the first article can be very different from the intensity of the revision in the sixth round, and on the other hand, the revisions may not be accepted.
What are your suggestions and experiences in this area?
Is it appropriate to use 6 to 8 reviewers for one round?
Is it appropriate to pressure the reviewers to review earlier?
I would be happy to share your thoughts with me.
