In lieu of mass testing of the general population for COVID-19, we are using social media survey to estimate the symptomatic population which can be combined with CDC testing data to estimate the proportion of the currently symptomatic general population with the COVID-19 virus.

The world has currently seen over a million Covid-19 cases. It is quite unfortunate, however, even Covid-19 has an expiry date. We just don't know when that is.

As of this time today, documented of COVID-29 cases in the world are 37,454,199.
However, there may be many undocumented cases, that escaped testing.
It is impossible to know how many people are infected with SARS-CoV-2 at any point in time. Many are asymptomatic and even those who manifest COVID-19 may have mild symptoms which they disregard. Government statistics are likely to be just the tip of the iceberg.
