A UNIDO/GEF funded project was launched some four years back which was aimed at installation of three demonstration purposed biomass gasification plants at Kamoke, Jhelum and Thatta. At present, most of biomass gasification facilities are either at pilot scale or at micro level having barely any remarkable contribution. I think project documents of UNIDO/GEF funded project can tell a lot about present status of biomass utilization.
For you, what biomass gasification means? Because we can turn biomass into gas through anaerobic fermentation, generating methane, or through controlled burning generating poor gas.
here my mean is for biomass gasification plants subsist for energy, transport, chemical and environmental industries in Pakistan specially for generating electricity
