I updated the Elsevier list with a new column: Acceptance Rate, based on Elsevier Journal Finder results. In my view, there is a correlation between the Impact Factors and Acceptance Rate. As writers, we generally want a good Impact Factors Journal with high Acceptance Rate. Thus, I make a new column, i.e., Acceptance Rate times Average Impact Factors. Hope this would be helpful.

Hi, probably it depends from journal to journal. In some cases it may take up to 1 year also. Hence, It is always recommended to contact the editor of the particular journal regarding the status of the communicated manuscript. If it is positive, you can stay on it or else have to think otherwise.
Normally, 3 to 6 months. Regarding you case, I'm afraid the best option is withdraw your article and submit it to a new journal. Anyway, you patience is plausible. most of the delay is because you selected a wrong journal, and the editors can not find suitable reviewers. Occasionally, the journal is a trash with no respect to authors and papers.
Actually, it depends on the journal. Some journals give a feedback within a couple of weeks while others take a whole year to send you their feedback. From my experience in this field, I found that journals with high quality and good impact factor takes more time to respond. In your case, I suggest to contact the editor to ask him regarding your papers status or you can contact other authors who published his/her work in the same journal to tell you regarding this matter. For future, don't rely on one journal which means that, send your work to at least three journals and wait for feedback. At the end you may get a useful feedback from two sides. Thus, you will enhance your work based on their feedback and you submit your work back to any of them (i.e. more freedom in choice)...
@ Saeed AL-Mansoori Sending a paper to more than 1 journals at a time breaches the author statement that has to be signed at the begining of the submission process.
Thanks for this comment Mr. Gyanshankar. What I meant here is regarding the journals that review your paper, once it is accepted, then they ask you to sign.
It is better to check another articles witch accepted on this journal, so you can inform when the manuscripts received to journal and how long does it t take to get acceptance. for example in springer journals you can find this informatioin first page of article
recently i have sent a manuscript for one of the springer journal, i ask a question from publication manager i asked him "How long does it take to my manuscript get accepted?". he replied me "The approximate time taken to render the final decision for a manuscript is 90 to 120 days. However, I would also like inform you that the time frame completely depends upon the availability and responsiveness of the reviewers."
I made a little research on Computer Science Journals List, Review Speed, Impact Factors, and Open Access Fee from Elsevier, Springer, and Hindawi. I hope this would be help.

Can we submit same papers to Springer, Elsevier or other journals for acceptance as there is delay in acceptance time or Is it necessary that only one paper should be send to 1 journal and wait for acceptance. Also once accepted they publish directly or ask for permission?
In the local journals, you may find PAKISTAN JOURNAL OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (PJPS) AND PAKISTAN JOURNAL OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (PJMS) as in X Category of HEC recognized list of journals.
It depends on the journals to which you are submitting your manuscript. Check on what frequency the journal is being published. Your paper might be in queue if it is accepted already.
It depends on you luck; if you get efficient reviewers then things will be done quickly. Normally the Editors give a maximum of four weeks, but prefer two weeks, for the evaluation of a manuscript. Then it depends on the reviewer how much time he will spare. If the paper is of interest he might send the report within days.
Be patient, some time it gets months to get the first report. Wait wait and wait.
There are numerous international reviewers working with:
Global Journal of Environmental Science and Management
Thus, we are not lasing more than 2 months reviewing time. The mentioned Journal is a peer reviewed scholarly publication indexed in the well- known databases such as; Web of Science, Scopus, ProQuest, Ulrichsweb, Cabi, Agricola and Chemical Abstract, etc. GJESM is the member of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Check this website (http://dtim.essi.upc.edu/jrt/), it helps you to see journal average response time. Currently, it only support Elsevier, Springer and Oxford.
Well written paper, full of information and guidelines. In particular this document will be useful for the new emerging scientists who would like to expand their visibility in the scientific community.
The time taken by the Journal in accepting the paper vary from Journal to Journal. It depends on the response of the referee as well as on the editorial staff. In fact some journal take nearly one year time. Delay also may be possible by multiple refereeing of the revised paper also. Finally one can say that there is no any fixed time for the acceptance of the paper . It depends on the condition developed after refereeing.
It totally depends on the journal and the editor of that journal. I heard that it may take even more than a year. Open access journals are a lot faster.
Please any one tell me the authenticity of Journal " Sādhanā – Academy Proceedings in Engineering Sciences published by Springer Science+Business Media on behalf of the Indian Academy of Sciences

How long does it take to send to send its first review??
Typically the acceptance of a research article by any standard journal takes anywhere between 6 months to one year. There are some open access journals that can accept the research articles in two to three months of time.
Actually, there are several websites reveal the journal review speed. Some are journal official database, others are open database collected from experienced authors.
Springer Official Website:

Elsevier JournalInsight:

Academic Accelerator:

Papertrans (Chinese)

I often use these websites, for me they are enough. If they do not cover your journals, you can google.
To my best knowledge, I know there are several similar websites also reveal review speed or review time.
