How long does it take for cre neurons express GCaMP6s ?

I am Injecting EF1a-DIO-GCamP6s in certain brain region of cre mice and I still cannot see fluorescence signal under 2P after 2 months, but I can see the green fluorescence by staining GFP antibody. Is it a problem of cre mice line or it needs more longer time to express GCaMP6s? Thanks in advance.
