I have measured the proportion of the total organic carbon (TOC) of polylactic acid (PLA) method DIN 19539. The results are 35,1%. Is it correct? How is the theoretical proportion of the total organic carbon of PLA ?

Dear Pavel,
I have not some practical experience in using DIN 19539, thus I will answer directly only at your question:
Theoretically the content of C (organic) in polylactide or poly(lactic acid) is about 50%. In my opinion maybe are some experimental errors, or not totally biodegradation (?), while is strongly recommended to verify if the sample is not a PLA blend/alloy or a product with some additives.
