PSA - which is a non-cryogenic process uses an adsorbent bed which selectively attracts contaminants from condensed crude helium to produce helium that's at least 99.997 percent
Cryogenic process - the crude helium is compressed and cooled before nitrogen is condensed and removed. The helium gas then passes through activated charcoal for final purification.
