Hard to say without knowing what you mean by "altruism" and "humility". How altruism is defined and operationalized is widely debated and many argue that it does not even exist. I don't think I've ever seen humility measured, but the following study demonstrates that shame predicts prosocial behavior, but only for immediately relevant decisions:
