It was lost because human beings stopped valuing themselves. In the teaching and learning process, most teachers have a unilateral and non-holistic approach, they think that the subject is the most important and stop committing to the comprehensive training of the individual.
Although generations present changes, old or new education aims to transform people's emotions and feelings, that is where balance must occur
The discovery of Technology has changed the flow of many processes, including education. The use of technology in the educational process for many decades has led to an educational revolution, thus breaking the methodology of teaching and learning. Humanism has a key role in this whole revolution, but in this decade the human influence has been softened due to the extraordinary use of technology in educational aspects. However, we as people have not lost our attention in this aspect, we are just paying attention to different strategies. The harmonization of old and new methods is very important, for many reasons, among the main reasons may be that we as humans are not overtaken ore surpassed by Artificial Intelligence, because if something like this happens then illiteracy will increase and lack of academic ability as well.
The role of humans or teachers in teaching is still very much needed, and cannot be completely replaced by technology. Regarding moral and ethical teaching, the role of humans is still directly relevant and is still best taught and exemplified directly to students.
Its good to reflect on the past, what worked well and what did not work well.

I suspect we lost sight of Human Centricity amidst the hype generated by first hardware companies like Apple, eager to saturate schools with their products. Now that indeed, the norm in Western Education Systems, is the widespread use of the tablet/ iPad. Somewhere along the way, we have forgotten that teachers should still play a central and integral part in the classroom.
There is still human-centered education in Iran. The balance between old and new schools is important, but time is needed so that schools can adapt to the progress of science.

I come from the Learning Sciences, and I think we have tended to throw the baby out with the bath water, so to speak. I think there´s lots to be said about Human-centric and Analogue teaching and learning. Without which, we end up with the Asimov´s parable of The Fun They HAD.

As a Learning Scientist, somewhere along the way, I find that we haven´t researched much about what we consider to be backward, be that chalk, blackboard, hand-writing (cursive and block), basically, analogue learning.

It is very interesting point. I do agree. Using markers on the boards or chalks is one of the methods that help create intimacy between the teacher and learners. Learners most of the time like to see their teacher's handwriting as most of the time try to imitate it. They also sometimes like the material and content of the teaching material because of their teacher's handwriting.
