I want to do static and modal analysis of thread grinding machine using solid works simulation software and I want to know the reliability of result.
- As in solid work simulation meshing can be done only by auto meshing (but very fine mesh can be done)
- Degrees of freedom of element are limited
- Limited to tetrahedral mesh
- Any other important parameters to be considered while doing analysis using solid works please share
i think you can use "COMSOL multiphysics".
try it ,it is having lot of simulation options.

I fine Simulation to be a powerful tool.
The trick is in defining your solid model knowing how you want to analyze your design. Where you want your mesh to be small and detailed and where it is not so critical. There are lots of tricks outside the Simulation package that help in that regard. I like to work in a multi-solid part rather than an assembly (for example). I will frequently split solids and/or faces to bound tight-mesh areas and mesh transition areas.
My work is more centered on displacements - rather than stress. Achieving convergence of a result for displacements is an order of magnitude easier than converging on a stress result. But... essentially you want to look at how much your result changes with changing element size and make sure you have not modeled a singularity.

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge so I understood that if we do proper descritization of model by understanding the behavior of model beside the software we use we can get the proper result (please correct me if I am wrong)

In finite element analysis, the reliability of the results mostly resides on your side.
Your options seem rather limited but that does not mean it is not sufficient. You have to ensure that the simulation you want to perform fits in what is offered.
