How effective is radiation in sterilizing both N95 and surgical masks ?

How possible it is to use either an ionizing radiation sources say Gamma radiation and or non ionizing radiation sources say uv, in sterilizing used facemasks so that they can be reusable especially during this pandemic period.ound ineffective in sterilizing N95 masks?
