Thank you for adding answer to my query Hafia Juma. Previously i had gone through this paper but the paper discuss very little about the economics of amino acid supplementation to the diet.

Using synthetic amino acid in the aqua-feed is not economical, instead, we go for the commercial grade amino acids which are available in the market.

Thank you Sir for adding answer to my query. I want one clarification from you "what do you mean by commercial grade amino acids? " Further i request you to kindly share some research where it has been found that using synthetic amino acid is not economical in feed formulation.

I sugest you conduct a linear program including all of your ingredient alternatives, that will give the correct answer for you.

Dear Amit. it is my personal experience, the synthetic amino acids are quite costlier than the commercial amino acids. If you know someone in the feed company please ask them price details.
