As you can see from the links above (especially the third link) the effect of a "supermoon" (which is just a term) is negligible. Things like that have happened in the past many times without notice. It is only now in times of internet that such moments are pushed to the news.
Thats right but I sea a phenomenon in a mariculture farm. The cages have an effective movement in two years in supermoon! The key point was nets full of biofouling! Maybe two of these reasons together cause the problem! There was no problem in third super moon (1 Jun 2018) with almost clean nets.
I am not from your field but maybe your observations is more linked to climate change than to supermoons. Supermoons existed in the past but only recently they became more a hype in internet media. The 2nd full moon on Jan. 31 which is called a Blue moon being the 2nd full moon in a month is only close to a supermoon.

There will be another Blue moon in March (again two full moon in a month) and no full moon in February, which apparently is called a Black moon.
