Hi there, I am looking at the environmental element that can increase salinity in wetlands. salinization versus water input is likely related and for the marshes that i am working at this relation seems effective. what i need is to discuss how salinity can be increased based on the water budget (mostly the differences between  evapotransporation and between water input and outlet). on of the suggestions was calculating the % increase of salinity using the following equation (% salinity increase = 100 * (evapotransporation * residence time) / depth. i am open for discussion
