Currently, I am working on a numerical model of intramedullary nail-implanted bone. There are six bodies in my model and almost each body has different material properties. Due to the irregularities in the model, i.e. screw holes, curvatures, etc., mesh is not completely composed of hexahedral finite elements. It is actually a mixture of tetrahedral and hexahedral elements. Can anybody help me in doing a mesh convergence analysis in such a model? It will be great if you guide me through the proper references (articles, books, etc).
