Human beings assume specific behaviors when in groups. The traditional lecturing classes tended not to motivate interactions of students in the classroom. They had to pay attention to the teacher and if that teacher thought this question or any contribuition was important for the group, he would either ask the student to repeat it or he would replicate the question to the group. Students were not allowed to learn from students or discuss the matter with another friend when the teacher was lecturing or commenting or answering questions about the topic. How can our teaching benefit from peer's interactions?
