Metabolic acidosis causes variations in pH levels in blood and metabolic rate varies during sleep which in turn can result variations in CO2 levels being expelled out owing to the differential respiratory drive during sleep.

hi..first of all ,all labs are using instruments..like ABG and electrolytes machines..
anyways when it comes to manual method, we can chose Biuret titration mathod by using, NaOH std solution 0.0227N ,phenolphthalein indicator and deionized water along with buret with stand and calibrated ehrlynmeyar flask.
then do titration.Use pH meter and the end point is 8.3.
