Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) has become the most common chronic liver disease in most parts of the world. Obesity, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia and metabolic syndrome are the main risk factors for the development of NAFLD.

NAFLD includes a spectrum of disease severity from simple steatosis to steatohepatitis, cirrhosis and HCC in a small subset of patients.

Management of NAFLD and associated diseases involves gastroenterologists/ hepatologists and endocrinologists, cardiologists and dietitians as well. Many guidelines are available, the latest comprehensive guideline is attached to this question. As no effective medical/ pharmacologic treatment aside from weight reduction is accepted, diversity is seen in approach to these patients between practicing physicians.

I like to know your way of managing NAFLD patients, your way of evaluating these patients and your way in treating them. Sharing your experience can help other colleague in their management and conducting new researches.
