How I do my current research is mainly by exploring research questions and calls from leading scholars in the required fields; however please share your opinion and experience of other ways.
Thanks Ahed, indeed this is exactly what I do BUT think should do research not just based on readings from solid and valid resources. What about tackling problems from observations and/or based on industrial calls? what do you think? and thanks again for sharing your experience.
I am a Heideggerian myself. Bu this I mean that i have never worked out - till now - on an idea or a research. Rather, ideas come to me, and I let them in and pay attention to them.
I read a lot, of course, I participate in seminars and conferences, out course. By in my own case, I initiate a research when the ideas tell me to do so.
In another context, if you will, I am an intuitionist (à la Poincaré, f.i.).
We own advise is: be open to your ideas, they are living entities and let yourself being driven by them. I mean it, seriously.
