1) Retention ratio of 1st year students (those who start and continue to 2nd year)
2) % graduates who are employed in their major/degree field within 1 year of graduation
3) The % of recent graduates that would recommend the school/program to a friend or family member.

I have found the Balanced Score Card approach very useful. The BSC framework recommends performance is measured on four broad parameters
- Student Perspective: how do students see us?
- Internal Perspective: what must we excel at?
- Innovation and learning perspective: can we continue to improve and create value?
- Financial perspective: how do we look to stakeholders?
