How do you deal with the right shift of histogram in imaging?

Good Day

I am currently reviewing concepts, and practicing using a epifluorescent microscopy. I often notice that there is a right shift in the histogram of my images.

I would like to ask/seek for your inputs on how to deal with this issue.
