You have discovered a novel species of short RNA expressed only in hepatocytes but not in other cell types. It is partly complementary to excised portion of rRNA. You hypothesize that

this RNA is transcribed by RNA polymerase III and positively or negatively affect the rate of rRNA maturation by regulating the rate of excision by one or more of the RNAses involved in rRNA maturation.

My professor gave an assignment to write a experimental plan for validating this matter. Can anyone help me ?
