Deionized water is best as it does not have any salts that change the molarity/ionic balance of other molecular biology reagents

- Milliq or deionised is free from RNAses and DNASes and is therefore designed for molecular biology. MilliQ purification is based on deionisation
- distilled or double distilled water is of slightly lower purity and suitable for things like wash buffers in procedures like immuno histochemistry, western blotting etc

In molecular biology we should use RNASE our DNAASE free water. Almost used during mixing (DNA,RNA, magnesium. Destiled water maybe used when prepare gel. MiliQ machine produce good quality water form molecular biology
