Morbidity and mortality in these patients depends upon type and degree Lobar agenesis. Patients with severe degree of Lobar agenesis do not survive.others present with a variety of respiratory and allied symptoms. Some of the patients with minor degree of pulmonary lobar agenesis live a normal life and lobar agenesis is detected on autopsy as an an incidental finding.
