I want to model failure of a bolted plate in tension test using ABAQUS?
How can I determine ductile (fracture strain, stress triaxiality and strain rate), shear damage (fracture strain, shear stress ratio and strain rate) and plastic properties (Yield stress, plastic strain and rate) required in ABAQUS?
With the bolt tightened at different torques (pre loads) , failure modes are different, so how to choose above asked values for two different pre-loads.
Do I need to do some initial experiments to determine these values and then use it in the model OR these values remain the same doesn't matter what the bolt torque value is?

For the calibration of the Ductile Damage model, you must know the material and the relationship between the stress triaxiality and fracture strain for the material you are modeling. The foregoing must be accompanied by experimental tests. Perhaps, you can use the properties of some other similar material.

I think the material properties are not dependent on the pre-load value and must be kept unalterd. To use of the ducticle failure criterion and modeling the plastic behavior, this paper would be helpful.

Is there any available standard for the single shear test for mild steel?
