HIV, like ant other chronic diseases requires individuals to adapt to living with it if they are to survive for some long time. Te stigma associated with HIV further complicates the psychological adaptation. It is however not clear how different individuals adapt to HIV.
I find answers within your question: Placing my self as HIV positive, I should have wish and motivation to live and lead my life as a model to others. Help me build it. Stigma is an attitude originating from outside and inside, starting from my close family members. They being my first circle of support, if they dont discriminate, they can sheild me from others stigmatizing me. So, build such a family around me. This reinforces the confidence in me too. Facilitate me get medical care to prevent from additional infection, guidance to live healthy, get my tests done and treatment when I need ...all these within my resources;
Depending on who have such support or someone who could facilitate these and inner energy with the optimistic attitude adapt well. This is my view
