I would like to write an academic essay on Depression among youth using Participatory Action Research and its applicability in our country but I dont have the idea how to make my ideas flow. Im starting to build an outline but it seems lacking and disastrous. Do u have any idea what are the essential information and data to include so that my paper will be clear and convincing? You can also include suggests readings that I could review. I highly appreciate any form of help.
R.A Tan Chops I can highly recommend «Writing and Doing Action Research» Jean McNiff from 2014. The basic questions are «How can I/we improve what we do?» and «What is my/our concern?». The book gives good guidelines for writing an academic essay in a systematic and rigorous way in an action research Style.

I'm thinking of contrasting depression in youth vs in elderly so I can have a good argument (or maybe not) and then talk about applying Participatory action research as project intervention for depression
