I tray to ignite a combustion by using the Spark Ignition proposed by fluent but I don't know the request of this model because it doesn't give me a real result.
If anyone has an experience with this kind of simulation, please help me for use it correctly (I mean the Spark ignition) ?
I didn't use Fluent for a long time but I recall that if you want to start a combustion, you can use a Heat patch (source).

but I work on the follow the front flame, so I need only the initiation of the combustion then follow the flame propagation.

I used heat patch before for nan-premixed flames with EDM model and it worked. It shouldn't work because the EDM model doesn't consider the temperature. It seems that the Fluent implementation allows that.
In your cases you can increase the ignition energy maybe it is not sufficient. I think it is better to give more information about your problem and the combustion model you are using maybe someone here could help.
