I have a thin metal plate and a copper wire which has AC current flowing through it. The wire is represented as a long thin copper cylinder and placed on top of the plate. I used the magnetic current physics model and specified the current density within the cylinder (tried surface and external current density) to simulate the eddy currents. Used an analytical function for the AC current (mentioned frequency, phase, amplitude). I ran this simulation in the time domain and kept getting errors, which cut the simulation short.

I think the way I represented the current within the cylinder is wrong. Any idea how this should be done, for the simulation to run in the time domain in COMSOL?
