Suppose we have simple problem to be implemented by WORKBENCH ansys for three days. Now, let us say I want to run this problem for just ONE (first) day to look at the results. Then after looking at the results for some time I want to complete running this problem for the the other remaining TWO days( start from the end of first day until the end of the third one). Any help of how to do that in workbench is really appreciated!

I feel, there is no reason to run a 'Simple Problem' for a long duration. Scale down the actual model, modify the mesh, or increase time step if its transient. That will save your time of trial.
I followed a procedure, while running time consuming analysis. Whenever i am stopping, i was saving a solver compatible file .dbs or relavant file (not .wbj.) Later restart the solver(not workbench directly) and read the file, it will start solving from where it stopped. Mine was fluid related problem on workbench. I feel, it may work with structural or any other domain problem. Give a try.

Mr. Gowrav, regardless whether the problem is simple or not, the idea is how to resume running it after stopping some time. At this moment my problem is just 2D heat conduction transient problem at constant boundary and initial conditions and it has no flow rate. So, do you think I can solve it by using FLUENT solver in workbench ansys or I have to use only the thermal TRANSIENT solver?
Next time I would like to simulate a heat pump problem with considering the flow rate in some times when it is working and not when it is not working [ intermittent running], so I think your answer above related to this case. In fact, I did not get you exactly how to handle this problem, so if you have example or link related to this problems, please let me know to get it.

Instead of stopping the solution, you can interrupt it to view the results in the middle of run. Later you can resume from where it was interrupted.
The option I mentioned is there in ANSYS Workbench - Mechanical.

ANSWER:
1. In ANSYS Mechanical during solution, click "Interrupt Solution" in the ANSYS Workbench Solution Status window that pops up. This will pause the solution and allow you to look at the results to that time point.
2. To resume the solution, go back to the Workbench window and click on the specific Analysis System Component you want to resume in the Project Schematic, then click "Update Project". This will continue to solve the solution from the point at which it was interrupted.
This feature is very useful for examining the solution, or pausing the solution if you are going to loose access to the licence temporarily (such as going to a meeting, or working from home).
