How do I quantify GTP hydrolysis in frozen whole cell lysate?

Anyone with experience of quantifying GTP-bound proteins in frozen lysate? How long these samples are good? I snap froze them. Kit suggests they are good for several months avoiding freeze-thaw cycle and using immediately after thawing. I have quantified them without a problem within couple days but not sure how long are they stable after few days. Thanks.
