i would like to know how to identify mcf7, hela and hepg2 cell line under microscope, whats their main difference in morphology??
thank you
Hi Lalrinzuali.
You can find images (under the heading Characteristics) in the following links:

You may have trouble discerning the MSF7 from the HepG2 cells as they can look similar. The MCF-7 tend to grow more in "islands" than the HepG2.
Both are very "clumpy" after trypsinisation (i.e. hard to get single cell suspensions).
The HeLa should be fairly easy to tell apart from the other two.
Hope this helps,
Gary
