I am doing a dissertation for my master in medicine (nuclear medicine). The title of my dissertation is
"Evaluation of difference in thyroxine withdrawal period and its effects on the level of thyroid stimulating hormone and quality of life". I will need a translated Malay version of SF-36 questionnaires to assess the quality of life during the period of thyroxine withdrawal. Thank you.
I think you have to buy it . It is software you should buy it first then you have to translate it .
SF-36 is not a particularly good instrument in assessing disease-related qol, it is more useful in health economics etc. There are a multitude of open access free-to-use qol questionnaires, some even in Malay https://goo.gl/BZkU8W

Most of the instruments are perfectly valid. I would suggest looking around some more, to find out which one suits your needs best. I would suggest that you pay particular attention to sleep parameters if study thyroid function.

A preliminary google search will be of great help. If there is one, try to contact the corresponding author to request his/her permission to use it. However, if the scale is not freely available, you may need to purchase the license to use them first from the original developer.
