How do I determine if a bacteria is Resistant, Intermediate or Susceptible using microbroth dilution?

so after eg: 18h incubation of bacteria and the drug in 96 well plate.

I should check the OD of the bacteria. correct? how do I relate the OD with the MIC breakpoint table?

can someone provide an example?

Dear Nurul, the concentration of your tested material which inhibit totally growth of bacteria is the MIC value. You can measure growth of bacteria at 600 nm.

If it is a known antibiotic and pathogenic bacteria, you can follow the procedure and the breakpoints indicated in CLSI or EUCAST manuals to determine your bacteria resistant or susceptible.
