Is it possible to calculate the number of water stress days in a specific year? I know that the average number of days with water stress is given in the output.std file, while the individual occurrences of water stress are in output.hru. Does w_strs in output.hru mean the number of days with water stress for a single hru? How do I average these results?

In my output.std I have results of stress days:
AVE ANNUAL BASIN STRESS DAYS
WATER STRESS DAYS = 9.34 TEMPERATURE STRESS DAYS = 84.25 NITROGEN STRESS DAYS = 69.48 PHOSPHORUS STRESS DAYS = 0.12 AERATION STRESS DAYS = 0.00
On the other hand, the average annual values from the calculations for the output.hru data are:
WATER STRESS DAYS = 0.474536 TEMPERATURE STRESS DAYS = 89.87729 NITROGEN STRESS DAYS = 60.62233 PHOSPHORUS STRESS DAYS = 0.110936
For output.hru, in the first step, I calculate monthly averages for each sub-catchment area. Then I calculate the monthly average stress values. In the next step, I add up all the monthly values and get the annual values. Which I do average for the time interval.
Why are the results so different? Especially when it comes to water stress?
